SAMBA not working after upgrading to HPUX trusted system CIFS 02.02.01

Not too much experience with samba, but I had it configured and working before converting to a trusted system on HPUX 11.11. Samba is set up with domain level security. I haven't really dug into it, but does anyone know if there are any options that need to be modified for a trusted system as opposed to a non-trusted HPUX system, or if anyone is aware of anything that needs to be done with samba when converting to a trusted system?

Thanks,

Not that I'm aware of.

It shouldn't make a difference - as you authenticate to the Windows domain.

Only thing I can think of - is try re-joining your server to the Windows Domain.

/opt/samba/bin/net rpc join -U administrator

Also check for errors in /var/opt/samba

I got it figured out. I added: "map to guest = bad password" to smb.conf, and restarted samba, and all is well now. Thanks, Marc
