Samba reload feature

Is there a reload feature on CIFS/9000 version A.01.06 (based on samba 2.0.7). I understand that it reloads automatically after 5 minutes. If that is correct, is it possible to change this value. What happens to already connected users in either case. thanks HHH

The reload (not sure what you mean, but I think you mean some kind of refresh) shouldn't disconnect anyone.

when I make changes to the smb.conf file, I would like to make the changes active without interrupting the connected users. what is the reload command for HP's CIFS/9000
