I will check the patch status , meanwhile can u pls tell me how to reduce the cpu utilisation or how to stop this daemon ?
This server is critical and cant be restarted . There are many users connected .Pl give an alternate solution which can solve this problem quickly.

Re: samd daemon consumes more than 90% cpu utilisation
Patching sam will minimize cpu utilization.
On an idle system, if the only thing you are doing is running sam, there is NOTHING wrong with high cpu utilization for sam.
You want sam to respond as quickly as possible and if the system limited it to 50% of available cpu time when 100% is available then it would work half as fast and people would complain.
Now if sam is comsuming these kind of resources when idle then you definitely need a sam patch.
