SAN disk having same Hardware path
I have presented a Vdisk from EVA5k to 2 hosts running in cluster and when i used ioscan command i observed that on both nodes the hardware path of this disk is same.
So when i tried to vgimport it's not pickcing the newly presented disk on the secondary node.
Kindly help me in this regard.

Did you 'insf -e' on both machines for the new device files to be created ?

Is the EVA connected to the two hosts via the same switch? (may explain why the h/w paths are the same). Could you attach the output of the following commands:
# ioscan -funC disk
# ioscan -funC ext_bus
# ioscan -funC fcp

Problem is resolved. I changed the preference controller from the EVA End.
