SAN problem,help!
I have a STK tape library L1400,it has 5 drivers and 1 robot.
the system has 2 fc cards, when use fcmsutil /dev/td0 get remote all,it can see 5 drivers and the robot, but all the device are
"Target state = DVS_UNOPENED",and this is same for td1
but the ioscan show a 'CLAIMED' state for the tae drivers and robot.
my problem is why the state is DVS_UNOPENED,
and what mean for DVS_UNOPENED?

Re: SAN problem,help!
from memory this simply means that the device hasn't been accessed from the host yet. I don't think it indicates a problem. Have you actually tried to use the device yet? Does it work?
