Saving settings of wlmgui
Hi,
Just configured WLM on an RX4640, HPUX 11.23. There is only one partition for the whole box. WLMGUI was configured. After exiting, the configuration loaded for viewing was not saved. Had to do everything again (identifying the host, wlmconf file, etc), whenever wlmgui is invoked.
Tried to do a "save" but I believe only the captured data were saved. Am I missing something? Is there a white paper that talks about this?
Thanks and regards.

Re: Saving settings of wlmgui
Hi Bodet,
The "Save" button on the WLM GUI saves the partition set definition so that you don't have to enter all the names of the partitions next time the GUI is started. The only item that you should have to enter is the password for each partition being monitored since storing the password would be insecure.
WLM's historical information is stored on the managed systems in the file /var/opt/wlm/wlmdstats. This is where the WLM GUI pulls the historical information from.
There is information in the online help provided with the WLM GUI about the buttons.
