Re: Say cheese!

Hi Bill,

I think they've forgotten a few things....
board shorts, bikinis, martinis, with
the cheese of course, (I'd prefer a
guinness or a kilkenny) sunglasses,
blockout, and of course something to have
fun on...no no no not a bloody laptop....
howbout a jetski.....

Good thread ....
Cheers

Re: Say cheese!

There is a thread which has a bigger photo attached, posted from Jeff Siegle. See: http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x8ca6e7e60861d511abcd0090277a778c,00.html

But still no shorts, drinks or jetskies in sight :-(

Re: Say cheese!

Maybe a nice suggestions for the ITRC Forums: the option to store a personal photo in the profile.

I like to see the faces behind the names... :D
Contrary to popular belief, Unix is userfriendly. It just happens to be selective about who it makes friends with.

Re: Say cheese!

I wonder if HP is going to invite whole royal court to HP world next year. If so, hope to see you there. :-)

Re: Say cheese!

True story

Most of the royalty back when was shorter and most sickly due to inbreeding.

The rarest metal at the time was also lead and most goblets were made out of it for royalty. They slowly poisoned themselves.

Hi Gang:

...well, my ancestors didn't inbreed, and I've always shunned lead... ;-)

Re: Say cheese!

Finally...it only took several tries to respond to this one..

But I had to respond !

Bill...Thank you so much for repeating my sentiments exactly. I suggested Hawaii myself for the retakes...I was willing to sacrifice my time and even pack myself, but No takers from HP yet...ha ha...I even suggested Paris to show the true unity of HP 'WORLD'...but still no word from HP. Hmmmmmm Maybe if I suggest we include Carly in the shot....what d'ya think JRF, think that would help? ha ha

Re: Say cheese!

I don't know Rita...Would including Clay in the picture help or hinder us? Sorry Clay!!! :)

I voted for Paris too... Oh wait.....I bet you meant Paris, FRANCE not Paris, Texas (yes there is such a place) didn't you? Damn.....I knew I was missing something. ;)

I think we should endeavour to make a photo like that a regular occurrance at HP World, if at all possible.

It was definitely a pleasure meeting the others in the Forums. Putting faces with names is priceless.

Re: Say cheese!

Hi:

This was meant as a test of Carly's Photosmart digital camera. The camera lived but just barely. As for that inbreeding stuff, does that mean your family tree don't branch?

Re: Say cheese!

Thanks Bill.

Now we don't have to "imagine" when we see JRF, Rita, Jim, Patrick and Clay.

I said Cheese.

Re: Say cheese!

Don't know about "Invent" but sure am "Imagining" myself in the picture along with all the other Royals. Ofcourse the backdrop is Palm trees, Blue ocean......

C'mon HP ...

I am all set to say "Cheese"

Re: Say cheese!

Bill, I agree with you about the lack of jetski's etc.

I hereby announce an outing for the next HPWorld at LA......

Santa Catalina Island is only 26 miles off the coast of LA. I propose that we all get our pale, flabby bodies on rented jet skis and go to Catalina and back. Survivors get 10,000 points added to their totals.

Seriously folks, while jet skis would be suicidal (yes, it has been done, by the well trained) a sedate walk around Avalon on Catalina followed by dinner and a leisurely cruise back would be lovely!

Any takers

Re: Say cheese!

Paul,

I like the way you think!!!! That sounds absolutely marvelous.

Dan are you paying attention?

I move that you be in charge of setting that up.

Do I hear a second?

Re: Say cheese!

That really is a great pic .. And I have to say that its nice to see what you guys look like. You can almost see james and clay sitting at his workstation hitting refresh answering questions. I wonder what I will look like when I am royalty X 5 ?
