Scheduling daily backup in HP-UX

Hi,

I want to schedule a daily backup in crontab of around 8GB data from one HP-UX Server to another HP-UX Server. Can anyone help me to schedule it automatically?

A good exercise it to schedule it with sam.

If this is done you can check schedule in cron with 'crontab -l'

You should also look into configuring NFS so that the server can be backed up across a network.

man nfs
/etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf
man /etc/exports

Databases must be shut to get a cold, clean backup.
