I have this daemon running on my server, according to the miniscule amount of documentation it is a data collection server that runs with DMI. I don't know how it got installed or where - just that I am getting get_sleep time errors building up in the scrlog.log. The main application running on the 11.x machine is Oracle 8.1.7. Not much else going on.

Any idea where it came from, and do I really need it?
