I have a L class machine and one MSL 5030 libary. Both are working proplery. However, since they are connecting through fiber channel to fc switch, I wonder how can I find out the scsi id and LUN number for the robotics arm.
Below is the device file location for my robotics arm
# ls -al /dev/rac
total 16
drwxr-xr-x 2 bin bin 96 Mar 4 2004 .
dr-xr-xr-x 20 bin bin 8192 Feb 15 09:30 ..
crw------- 1 bin sys 231 0x090000 Mar 4 2004 c9t0d0

Re: SCSI ID or LUN
You have another option apart from "ioscan"..try the following for a change..
lssf /dev/rac/c9t0d0
But ioscan is preferable, as it can give you the hierarchical overview of the H/W's.
ioscan -fun
