What does this error message means SCSI: Target detected parity error - lbolt" from syslog.log ?

It means that the sum of the 0's and 1's was not the expected result.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Shalom Indrajit,

It means one of two things.

A disk has failed, either itself or due to a cable or controller failure.

It can also be generated by switching out a hot swap disk.

If its the later, the message will go away next reboot. If its the former, you have a disk to replace or other hardware service to arrange or perform.
