scsimgr is not working in hpux11iv3

This is regarding some problems we are facing with scsimgr,

Scsimgr manpage says,

leg_mpath_enable RW boolean Default setting of
tunable to enable or
disable multi-pathing on
legacy DSF of a LUN.
Values: false(0) or
true(1)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-> If we set leg_mpath_enable to false, what is the expected behavior? We are seeing the same behavior even after disabling/enabling it (we are not able to use a single path/preferred path). Also some machines showed true as the default value of leg_mapth_enable & some showed false as default value.

What is command to actually disable the native multipathing and use preferred path. The following command also did not work for us, $scsimgr set_attr -D /dev/rdisk/disk0 -a load_bal_policy=preferred_path -a preferred_path=0/3/1/0.0x21000020371972eb.0x0
