SD-UX question
Is there any way to obtain the product_specification_file (swpackage -s ???) and the pre/post install/remove scripts from an already installed product?
I have a "in-house" package installed on a HP box functioning correctly but no more the depot version. I want to make a SD-UX depot file with swpackage to easily deploy it. Is there an way to do this?
Thanks in advance.

Re: SD-UX question
Hi Laszlo,
No the psf file is not stored with the package, although it can be fairly surely ascertained just by thoroughly analyzing the package contents itself.
And yes the scripts are in the package - normally in
~pkg_name/catalog/pkg_name/pfiles
But if it's depoted up with other pkgs they'll be in
~depot_name/catalog/pkg_name/pfiles
But it should also be noted that there is NO requirement for install/remove scripts. So the possibilty exists that there are none.
HTH,
Jeff
