L2000, external secure web console
I have tried 2 different PC's and they both allow logins via the web console but when I try to open a console session the 'telnet style' console displays BABABA adding a few BA's every few seconds. It ignores any key presses
I have a 3 way lead with console, remote and UPS. The leads appear OK and the web console is plugged in to 'remote'.
The web console is set to emulte vt100, just like the console which was previously connected to the 'console' port.
I have done the Java test at
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/hw/swc/index.html which worked but it still 'feels' like a Java problem.
Can anyone point me to a solution?

Re: secure web console displays BABABA
Why the console is not set on console connector??? Also check your settings. They should be as follows.
1. Bits persecond-- 9600
2. Data Bits -- 8
3. Parity -- none
4. Stop bits -- 1
5. Flow Control -- none or Hardware

Re: secure web console displays BABABA
Console P/N J3591A
Firmware was A1.6, upgraded to A2.0 with no improvement.
Connected to 'remote' on advice from my supplier.
Connected to 'console' on advice from above and it works!
.. now to go and assign some points!
