Securetty File

Hi,

I have used securetty file to give root only console logon. This is work only with shell logon, but when I use Xclient/XWindows, then I can logon using root!!

Hi Fuad,

Have a look at Alex's posting in the following thread:

Essentially, you add code to '/etc/dt/config/Xstartup' to check if X is started by root.

Shalom Fuad,

X windows uses a differnt method to connect and requires you to configure it to stop root login.
