Re: Security Bulletins

hello,

First go to ITRC home page - then Maintenance and support - then under notifications - select support information digests -

You will find what you want from there.

Re: Security Bulletins

I get security bulletins from cert.org - they have a signup email service that covers all security alerts, not just HP ones.

Re: Security Bulletins

Connect to the ITRC --> Maintenance & Support tab (at the left of screen) --> under Notifications --> Support Information Digests --> select the check box for Security Bulletins Digest. To see archived security digests, scroll to the bottom of the page and follow the link.

If you use security_patch_check from www.software.hp.com your system will be checked for missing/necessary patches.

Please note that if you receive any messages regarding missing snmp/OV/emanate patches that you have to get those patches from http://support.openview.hp.com/cpe/patches/ in addition to what you might need from the ITRC patch database.

Re: Security Bulletins

Hey James,
That's one of those questions I answer so many times, I keep a notepad and just cut-n-paste the answer so I don't have to retype.

Did you see that OV stuff? I threw that in as a little extra something ;^) so it's not a complete copy!

Take Care,
Cheryl
