Seeking HPUX 10.20 Install Media

Attempting to recover and rebuild an HP 9000, K460. Seeking HPUX 10.20 install/core CDROM media. An ISO image to burn cdrom would be ideal. HP support claims they no longer supply CDROM media of 10.20. Any ideas?

Re: Seeking HPUX 10.20 Install Media

If you have a support contract, any local HP office will have the CD's that you can borrow.

If you don't have a support contract, this may be a copyright issue to get them from someone else other than HP.

Why did you not have an ignite image or a backup?

Why don't you have 10.20 media since that was what was used to build the box in the first place?

We have a support contract. We have migrated all our production systems to 11.x.
Another division had neglected to migrate apps running on T600 and aging k460 off 10.20. Their ignite tape failed.

OK, sorry for being harsh.

Our local HP office in OKC has a storage cabinet with ALL the CD versions from the last 5 years. I had to borrow a 10.0 upgrade CD a couple years ago.

Get with your local HP support folks, they can round up anything you need.
