Send SNMP trap or not due to HD failure

Hi:

My server is rp5470 with DS2405. My SW is 11.11

SNMP deman had enabled and My questions is bellow

Q1: When external HD has only read error, server will trigger SNMP trap to network management center or not? why?

Q2: When external HD fail and doesn't work any more, server will trigger SNMP trap to network management center or not? why?

What traps when will be emitted depends on your EMS configuration.
For instance, you can check your current notification policy by running the [s] command from the /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig utility.
