Sending print to CAPT printer in UNIX

Hi
I have a CAPT printer(Canon LBP810) to be hooked up to be used in UNIX. I have a few questions:

1) Can a CAPT printer be configured to used with UNIX?
2) If possible, I'm attaching a AXIS print server to it as the printer is USB based and I'm printing through TCP/IP, will there be any differences in printer name when i try to add in the printer thru SAM?
