Sendmail : 505 Authentication requred
Hi,
I am trying to configure sendmail to send mail from one HP-UX (10.200 system to Microsoft outlook server. I configured sendmail.cf, aliases, sendmail.cw and all related things.
When I try to send mail I get error message
'505 Authentication required'.
'554 Service unavailable'
and the operation is getting failed.
Can you please tell me what i have to look into. Is it anything security related in the exchange server side? If so, can you please tell me how to correct this (I don't know much on exchange server).
Please mark a copy to 'satyabrata_basu@non.hp.com'
Many thanks in advance....
Ciao..
Satya.
