Sendmail check_local for 8.12.8?

Dear all,

We have patched up 8.11.1 but am interested to know if anyone has a quick fix for not using the smart relay for mail to local aliased mail.

i.e sendmail server is server 1.wally.com

alias

persona: persona@server2.wally.com

This was possible in sendmail 8.11.1 by uncommenting the check_local line:


# See if we are supposed to deliver to hosts in the local domain
R$* < @ $* > $* $: $>check_local <$m> $1 < @ $2 > $3 Local Domain?

use LOCAL_USER or LOCAL_USER_FILE. hope this helps. and try upgrading ur sendmail. there was some exploit which was discovered yesterday and a patch released.
