Ronald,
transient errors are normally only temporary.
Can you check that your sysy=tem is sending to correct SMPTP host and is an authorised sender.
Also ensure that your DNS system is working ok.

I finaaly got it to work when I apply DNS IP Address to the resolv.conf.
