Sendmail Resolver Issue?

Hello again,

I have noticed that my sendmail (8.11) server (HP-UX 11.0) rejects email messages from yahoo.com. The log file says that it cannot resolve the domain, however an nslookup of yahoo.com from the mail server (also a dns server) resolves just fine... Unauthoratively of course. I played arouind with the ResolverOptions parameter with no luck. And of course my 1000+ page Sendmail book is of little use. :>)

Any help would be appreciated. Not an emergency though.

In your sendmail.cf file, what options do you have set for "O ResolverOptions="?

Denver,

By default, the ResolverOptions parameter is commented out, and according to my O'Reilly Sendmail reference this is the same as DNSRCH, DEFNAMES and RECURSE being turned 'ON'. At present I have the parameter commented out.
