Sendmail Tracing

Is there any other way than snedmail -v to trace email? I can send an email and sendmail shows only positive confirmation of the delivery to the exchange server but I dont get the email. Another server connected to the same network and configured virtually the same gives me emails readily. This functionality was working on both servers weeks ago.

Hi,

mailq will show if it's still queued for delivery.

Also check /var/adm/syslog/mail.log.

I should think you'd be able to get some info from the Exchange server.

Hi,
Yes there is one more option for sendmail tracing.
#sendmail -X root@mydomain.com
