sendmail
This is what I type at the prompt.
mailx -stest myusername.com < cat filename
- Mark as New
- Bookmark
- Subscribe
- Mute
- Subscribe to RSS Feed
- Permalink

I do the command first & pipe it into mailx - as follows:
cat filename | mailx -stest myusername.com
otherwise you get a "cat: cannot open" error msg.

You don't have to use cat when redirecting a file. You can just run the command like this.
mailx -s test myusername.com
