Serial # checking question
# echo "sel path system\ninfolog\nexit"|cstm|grep "System Serial Number"
System Serial Number...: (Unknown)
When I issue it on another system, I get the following response:
# echo "sel path system\ninfolog\nexit"|cstm|grep "System Serial Number"
System Serial Number...: UGX4304HDJ
Where is this value set and why isn't coming up on that system? Can I set it manually?

Re: Serial # checking question
This could happen for couple of reasons
1) You have a old hardware
2) You have a old version of STM installed in the system.
Compare the STM version between these two machines.
