This is new Installation:-
There is no data apart from vg00:-
I have installend 11.31 on external disk
I have 11.23 on internal disk
Now I wanted to mirrior the external disk to the Internal...
I have done the below:-
# idisk -f /tmp/idf -w /dev/rdisk/disk6
# idisk -f /tmp/idf -w /dev/rdisk/disk8
#pvcreate -B /dev/rdisk/disk6_p2
#vgextend vg00 /dev/disk/disk6_p2
this gave an error
Couldn't open physical volume "/dev/rdisk/disk9_p2":
Verification of unique LVM disk id on each disk in the volume group
vg00 failed.
Then I rebooted the server... now it does not boot up...
now either I havee to bring the server up & running or
reinstall the oS... but to reinstall I do not have fs0 or fs1 or fs2... plz advise

Re: Server does not boot
Start with the DVD and do a clean install.
Then read the manual pages on mirroring an Integrity server boot disk.
