Server does not initiate operational system "INIT: Command is respawning too rapidly"

Hello, My server was restarted and after he came back presenting this error, my server is a L2000.

INIT: Command is respawning too rapidly.
Will try again in 5 minutes.
Check for possible errors.
id: cons "/usr/sbin/getty console console"

I erased and created new inittab

# cp /etc/inittab /etc/inittab.bak
# cp /usr/newconfig/etc/inittab inittab
# init q

I until thought to be hardware problem and restarted the GSP but he did not decide the problem.

I did not try to comment the line in /etc/inittab therefore will be blocked login in the console and one will have problems I was in doubts if this affects when to inciar the server in way to single-user.

Something is acting like an antenna..

Loose cable on console ?
comment out the getty for the console in inittab or if there is a mux attached, then init q
