is there a check list for newly installed servers?
things to configure post-install, like /etc/resolv.conf, /etc/hosts, mirroring, etc.

In addition
Boot from alternate drive
verify low quorum (hpux -lq) is configured
install and configure sysinfo (great for DR info)
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/cgi-bin/search?package=on&description=on&term=sysinfo&Search=Search
look for world writable files and directories
look for files and directories nnot owned by defined users or group
tighten overall security
trusted system
sudo
restrict root access
install ssh
disable telnet/remsh
remove any .rhosts or hosts.equiv and set up a cron job to look for new ones
configure/verify ISEE
configure install monitoring of system health
perform initial ignite backup of system
setup regular ignite backups of vg00
