Server isnot responding when using Xmanager
Hi
My one HP-UX server is not responding after taking login/password in Xmanager
The screen hangs with starting "CDE environmnet "
and no display after this .
The other servers in same n/w are giving the display.
In error log i am getting " Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion"
I checked in others severs , Xfs is not running .
Pls revert back !!

Re: Server isnot responding when using Xmanager
If you didn't tried before, restart dtrc (/sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc stop|start)

Re: Server isnot responding when using Xmanager
Hi
I tried restart of dtlogin daemon , even after it was not working .
I restarted the server and now I am able to login using X manger . It was development server. It was supposed to be restarted for scheduled maintaince .

Re: Server isnot responding when using Xmanager
Vijayendra Babu!!
This type of error coming due to some network problem. u are lucky that you have to reboot the server and problem solve by your self. if you face this type of problem again. see output of dr_dt script and check whether every thing is fine in network.
Now close the thread.
Regards,
Awadhesh
