Server Restart

I have a cluster consisting of two nodes, one of my nodes restartes suddenly. when i check the shutdown log file i found the following:
"14:53 Sun Aug 20 2006. Reboot after panic: , isr.ior = 0'a627fe80.c0000000'8
03144c"
what does that means???

Re: Server Restart

As an addition to Freddy

Re: Server Restart

It means your system rebooted due to a panic condition.
you need to check whether this was a hardware panic or maybe Serviceguard caused the box to TOC.
Go look in /var/adm/crash and see if there is a directory that has the same date, then in there shoul dbe an INDEX file, read that and see if it gives you any better clue.
Also check your tombstones.
Another area to check is the OLDsyslog.log of this server and see if there is any clue there?

Re: Server Restart

Hello,

You will need to contact HP so they can read the messages "panic: , isr.ior = 0'a627fe80.c0000000'8
03144c"

This could be a CPU or memory issue.
