Server Shutdown (HP-UX 11.31 - RX2660)

Hi,

HP server unexpected shutdown but unable to find the reason. Log files are attched.
Could you please help on this.

Check /var/adm/syslog/

There are shutdown and start up logs.

If it proceeded normally, /etc/rc.log might contain some clues.

The syslog file doesnt have any information regarding the shutdown.

can you check if you have any crash files at /var/adm/crash

I can't view the attachment, but you'll probably want to check /etc/shutdownlog. It should let you know if a panic condition occurred and possibly provide details for it.

If there was a (hardware) problem, you should see related entries in the MP system event log.

Consider to capture and attach it.
