The main manual is called "Managing Serviceguard". Which particular edition of the main manual you should read depends on what version of Serviceguard you have... the first few chapters give a basic introduction.

(incientally the product name is "Serviceguard" not "ServiceGuard" or "Service Guard")

ServiceGuard is well documented, although a little complex for begineers. If you have two test systems or VMs, it is possible to learn it by yourself.

Besides the documentation links above, there is a webcast concerning SG 11.19, it's not technically detailed but it should give you an overview of the product and its capabilities:
