Re: Service Guard Agent and Link Down Trap
I have the patch applied to my machines.
This is what I find.
I have 2 nodes, NodeA & NodeB.
NodeA is the co-ordinator.
Node I bring NodeA down. NodeB assumes the role of co-ordinator and sends a Link-Down trap.
NodeB:162:2:0:1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.2.3 S=1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.2:2:
What does the last '2' mean in the above???
I get the same thing when the scenario is reversed? How do I interpret from the above trap that, NodeA has gone down ?
Thanks,
Karthik

Re: Service Guard Agent and Link Down Trap
Is this a SNMP trap you are referring to.
Is this on NNM or ITO
Pls also check if you have these patches on all your cluster nodes:
IT/Operations patch PHSS_13939
MC/ServiceGuard patch PHSS_6799

Re: Service Guard Agent and Link Down Trap
I found PHSS_5331. Seems to be the oldest ServciceGuard patch... and it's still not superseded!

Sorry, couldn't resist. :-)
