Service Guard and Cron Job

Hi
I have 2 nodes cluster and 3 packages configured with 3 diferent Oracle instances
i need that once a package failover to other node , the cron job run on the working node and also have synchronisation between the jobs
could i add something to the toolkit integration of the cluster to help solving this issue ?

Thank you

Re: Service Guard and Cron Job

I have solved such issues by defining the cron jobs on every node, in the crontab of root.
The cronjob starts a script (also present on every node) that checks (command 'cmviewcl -v -p | grep -c "$(hostname) *up *running"' should be 1) if the package in quection is running on the local node.
If so, continue, or start a new script under a new user.
If not, just exit and do nothing.
