Dear Experts,
There is a request to add new vgs and new FS to the cluster pkg.
Ours is 2 node cluster.
I have done proper steps and created new FS on primary node and imported the map file on node2.
After that i have edited the pkg.cntl file with the new vg, lv, fs details and executed 'sh -n' for syntax errors and no errors reported.
Then, i proceeded to update the cluster.ascii file by adding new vgs info and executed cmgetconf command and no errors found.
Later i copied both cntl and ascii files to node2.
After all the above steps, i have manually mounted those new FS.
I have got a downtime for this to restart the cluster pkg to startup these new FS automatically when pkg runs.
So, now i want to know if i halt and run the cluster pkg will my new filesystems can be available? or else do i need to execute any more commands?
Also, advise me do i need to verify using commands for cluster configuration file.
Thank you.

Solution
>execute cmgetconf
after editing cluster configuration file you need to execute
cmcheckconf -C cluster.ascii instead of cmgetconf
if it sucessful without any error you need to run
cmapplyconf -C cluster.ascii
then only go for pkghalting and starting
