Re: Service Guard SG 11.09

If we talk about "support" keep in mind that 11.00 is unsupported since 2006.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Service Guard SG 11.09

Are you sure you mean SG 11.09, or HP-UX 11.00??? These are both obsolete software.
I checked the lab documentation - the "MC/ServiceGuard Version A.11.09 Release Notes" (B3935-90024) don't state a specific node limit, but I believe it was 8.

Re: Service Guard SG 11.09

is SG11.09 installed on the HPUX11.00 OS version.
the B3936-90026 doc in the hp web site is removed and i don't know where find the information. Someone has this doc?

Re: Service Guard SG 11.09

Serviceguard 11.09 supported 16 nodes not 8.

Re: Service Guard SG 11.09

and yes, 11.09 was supported on HP-UX 11.0. But as many people have already stated, neither have been supported for a very long time now.

Torsten: I took a quick preview to the html version cached by google, and there weren't any chinese chars on the first pages. :)

Re: Service Guard SG 11.09

Shalom,

Not the OS.

Not the version of SG.

No support at all.

How many nodes? Practically speaking, I've never seen it pushed past 4 nodes. If you want to do this project, try a supported OS and software version.

Many clusters are two node. That is the configuration where SG excels. Failing over an application between two.

Re: Service Guard SG 11.09

I found my old notes from 2002 about several versions around SG 11.0x and they say 16 nodes maximum.

Why do you want to know this?

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Service Guard SG 11.09

16 nodes, as I already said. However, you really should not be building a new cluster with such old unsupported releases.
