Re: SERVICE GUARD SYBASE

Hello Luk,

HP offers a Sybase toolkit script to link to the package control script to operate a Sybase package. The monitor process is part of the toolkit. The toolkit script itself is 370 lines - not a trivial component. If you wish to use HP's template to facilitate your configuration, the product number and name are:
B5139DA --- Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit

Re: SERVICE GUARD SYBASE

Many customers have this installed and in use with no problems.
What version of OS? ServiceGuard? Toolkit?
What is the actual problem?

Re: SERVICE GUARD SYBASE

Hello,

I spend some weeks in the sun. But this didn't solve my problem. In attachment you find my monitoring script. I have some problems with the processes that has to be monitored en with the cmhaltpkg command.

Re: SERVICE GUARD SYBASE

The script you enclosed is the latest revision of the toolkit script - B.01.07.

Can you please supply details on the failure mode? Perhaps the package control log will shed more light too.
