We are implementing Service Guard on nodes with Veritas for VG/FS control.
Attached is the document we used for testing the movement of VG's between servers using HP/LVM.
Is there any procedures for doing this under Veritas ?

Solution
Hi Mike,
I suggest you look at this document
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/B3936-90065/B3936-90065.html
Section "Creating a Storage Infrastructure with VxVM"
It covers both LVM and VxVM setups under Serviceguard.

You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try

Re: Service Guard using Veritas
Hi Mike,
I've not used vxvm with SG. We primarily use lvm on all hp servers.
Here is a lisk from hp docs site which tells about the procedure to usevxvm with sg,
http://docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/fsearch/framedisplay?top=/hpux/onlinedocs/B3936-90079/B3936-90079_top.html&con=/hpux/onlinedocs/B3936-90079/00/00/37-con.html&toc=/hpux/onlinedocs/B3936-90079/00/00/37-toc.html&searchterms=vxvm&queryid=20041015-082526

Refer to the sg doc on hp docs site, pick the version you are working on.

Hope this helps.
