Service Guard
hi,
We have bought two three new rp series servers, and we need to configure cluster for the same, i am doing hardware setup, but i want to know how to configure three node cluster [with Vxvm and Veritas cluster manager]. in all servers we have three lan cards and with a disk array[for external storage]. we have to run oracle database in these servers.
Can any one give me the steps for doing so, even i read service guard manual which is available in docs.hp.com, but could not able get it.

Re: Service Guard
If you follow the Managing Serviceguard manual, there are worksheets to document your items and details to create a cluster.
The manual documents the steps to create a cluster.
Failing that, if you do not fell comfortable doing this, I suggest you either use a consultant to assist, or attend the Serviceguard course avalable from HP Customer Education services.
