ServiceGuard 11.18
We are setting up a new cluster with hp-ux 11.31+service guard 11.18.Then the database packages running on existing cluster will be migrated to this. The existing cluster is built with hp-ux 11.11+ServiceGuard 11.16.
Please anyone tell me the additional parameteres added in the control &conf files for SG a.11.18.
I have gone through the release notes and it describes a lot

Re: ServiceGuard 11.18
I haven't find much difference in the parameters otherthan configuring the dependancy and priority. However in version 18 ,most of the network configration can be done while the cluster is up, and you have got an option to go with modular package.
if you are comfortable in 11.16 , you wont find difficulty in configuring 11.18
but other's may have different openion..

Re: ServiceGuard 11.18
You will need to convert your package configuration to the new modular configuration. It keeps the entire package config in a single file, which is very nice.
Are you using the pre-built package control scripts for oracle?

Re: ServiceGuard 11.18
While still supporting 'legacy' package format, A.11.18 offers the new modular package configuration method, where only one file is necessary to identify all package specific parameters and resources. Also package dependencies and priorities are possible.
The cluster management 'engine' was rewritten for A.11.19. This version also include many new features and supports online reconfiguration of more parameters than previous versions.
