ServiceGuard & Rac 10g

I'm new to HP-UX & Serviceguard. I'm finding the HP sites confusing to searh ... so I apologise in advance if my questions sound a bit dumb.

1. Does Serviceguard run on Integrity blades, running HP-UX 11i v3
2. Is Oracle 10g RAc supported.
3. does CFS,CVM work?

Is there a location that clearly states this support?

BL60p Blade Server
Supported on HP-UX 11iv3 with Serviceguard A.11.17.01 and SGeRAC A.11.17.01.


BL860c Blade Server
Supported on HP-UX 11i v3 September 2007 (or later) with Serviceguard A.11.18 and SGeRAC A.11.18 or later.

CFS and CVM were not supported on 11.31, up until now, but may now be supported.

Just checked, I believe the CFS/CVM question is now a yes, as of the Fusion release for 11iV3 available now

Hi Melvyn,
I've checked out the docs you posted. They don't really contain the statement I'm looking for. The SGeRAC Support doc is a little confusing. I was interested to hear that CFS & CVM will now be supportted & they documentation needs to be updated ... so maybe I should wait for the update.

1. Integrity blades run HPUX 11.23 or 11.31
Versions of ServiceGuard are supported on them

2. SGERAC is supported with ServiceGuard 11.17

3. CFS CVM will be used with RAC with Oracle 10GR2 with CFS. CFS is a optional product implemented ontop of ServiceGuard as serviceGuard packages.

HP Education has courses on ServiceGuard (h6487) and ServiceGuard RAC (u8601) that includes CFS isntallation and configuration.

OK, update on the question of CFS/CVM on HP-UX 11iV3 and SGSGeRAC
This is currently scheduled for end of year 2007, but is not guranteed at this time.
It IS available on HP-UX 11iV2 with Sg/SGeRAC 11.17 and 11.18
