ServiceGuard and quorum server issue

Is possible to associate an hpux 11iv1 quorum server with an hpux 11iv2 (11.23) cluster node ??

Cause, when i try to start cluster, I have this message in /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log : "version reply error from quorum server at @IP : access_denied" and cluster don't start.

Thnks,

The OS version shouldn't matter, but the SG and Quorum Server versions will. What do you have installed? See Table 1-1 in the README for compatibility information:

Remember also that you must add the hostnames/IP addresses of the cluster nodes to the quorum server's access control list and run "qs -update". If you haven't done that, the quorum server will refuse to talk with your new cluster.

Hi,

I agree with Matti.
Make sure the cluster nodenames are in the /etc/cmcluster/qs_authfile
And then run qs -update

Re: ServiceGuard and quorum server issue

all,

My server quorum version is A.01.00 and it is not supported with a A.11.17.00 version cluster.

Thanks.

Update the QS to the latest supported version, downloadable from software.hp.com
