ServiceGuard and Trusted Base Computing

I have looked throught the forums, but did not see a clear answer. Are there any issues with running SG with trusted based systems?

Thanks

Re: ServiceGuard and Trusted Base Computing

Hi Steve,

I used ServiceGuard on the systems that were trusted. I didn't encounter any problems. I would suggest to use cmclnodelist instead of .rhosts for setting up ServiceGuard.

Re: ServiceGuard and Trusted Base Computing

Hi Steve,

I too have run SG on trusted systems without problem. Ditto on cmclnodelist.

Re: ServiceGuard and Trusted Base Computing

Hi,

No problem at all. Avoid using .rhosts anyway instead use cmclnodelist.

Have a look at this doc..

Re: ServiceGuard and Trusted Base Computing

we run trusted systems across the board with redundancy in every environment. Trusted systems behave well with mcsg clusters.

There is a known issue if you happen to try trusted systems with a VCS cluster on HPUX 11.00 or 11.I.

You should be ok with mcsg and trusted.

Good luck,

Happy new year.
