Serviceguard and upgrade to HP-UX 11.23

Serviceguard and upgrade to HP-UX 11.23

I am running HP-UX 11.11 and Serviceguard 11.14, and am planning an OS upgrade to HP-UX 11.23. I would like to avoid a cold install, if possible. Do I need to install a new version of Serviceguard, or will the existing version work with 11iv2?

It should work. In any case, just have backup if you run into problems.

Serviceguard A.11.14 is out of support, and also is not supported on HP-UX 11.23
Upgrade your Serviceguard to A.11.16 first, get that stable, then look at doing the OS upgrade.

I would suggest a cold install, using the rolling upgrade process.
