Serviceguard cluster Events

hi guys,

Can anybody tell me where to check the Events/Errors Generated (like information on when it has been moved to secondary node, when it is halted, restarted etc).from ServiceGuard Cluster running on HPUX 11iv3.I think i can get this information from cntl.log.Apart from this are there any other files from where we can get these details easily.

Re: Serviceguard cluster Events

Check the syslog and the cluster/package log files in /etc/cmcluster/...

Hope this helps!

Re: Serviceguard cluster Events

Hi

As replied by torsten,

refer to the syslog that is /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
and the corresponding Package control Log files.

The level of logging on the SG events can be set or changed using the #cmsetlog command.

U can increase or decrease the verbosity of the logged events using this command.

see ma page for cmsetlog as #man cmsetlog.

make sure that u have enough space on the disks to hold the logs.

Sujit
