Serviceguard Compatibility Matrix

I am trying to locate a Compatibility Matrix of Applications that have been certified by HP as tested with Serviceguard.

I seem to remember that one was available about 3 years ago and wondered if this list had been maintained and updated.

Re: Serviceguard Compatibility Matrix

Of course - from Bharat which is for 11.08 (old), here's the link for 11.15:

http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/B3935-90063/B3935-90063.html

As far as Applications go - you can run just about anything in a MC/ServiceGuard environment...from a complicated application like SAP to something as simple as Xclock.

Best is, if you have a "canned" application, talk to your HP Account Support Rep about whether or not other customers have it running in MC/ServiceGuard.

Re: Serviceguard Compatibility Matrix

Those pointers were to the SG release
notes. I don't see supported
applications listed there.

A partial list is included here:

http://docs.hp.com/hpux/ha/

Specifically:

- Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit
(ECMT) - a set of SG failover scripts
for commonly used applications. These
apps include:

Databases:
Oracle, Informix, Sybase, DB2, and
Progress
Other:
- Netscape products (FastTrack
server, Enterprise Server,
Enterprise Server Pro, Proxy
Server, Messaging Server, Collabra
Server, Calendar Server).
- Apache
- CIFS (Samba)

- Highly Available NFS (SG cluster as
NFS server)

- SG Extension for Oracle RAC
- SG Extension for SAP

Note that the above are all supplied by
HP. Did the list you saw also include
third party products that include SG support?
