My questions are
1. When you are at the step of upgrading Serviceguard, do you unintall 11.15 first, then install 11.16? Does this cause a reboot?
2. If 11.15 does get uninstalled first, will it remove the /etc/cmcluster configuration files?
THANKS

SolutionYou do NOT swremove the exisiting version, simply use swinstall to install the newer version, it takes care of the rest.
make sure you alsio patch it with the latest SG 11.16 patch PHSS_34503 or 34504 depending on whther you have HP-UX 11.11 or 11.23

Re: Serviceguard rolling upgrade
The opposite of Ignite, where you must back up configuratoin and then swremove, as noted above, you don't swremove SG.
Designed this way to permit a rolling upgrade.
