Serviceguard upgrade help

I`ve to upgrade my server HP-UX11iv2 to HP-UX11iv3 same time I`ve to upgrade SG11.17 to SG118. Please guide me how to do this task properly.
I could not find any document for SG11.17 to SG11.18 upgrade.

I think you better first upgrade serviceguard first to 11.18. That version is supported on both HP-UX releases.
SerivecGuard allows a rolling upgrade : First upgrade system 1 tot 11.18 while system 2 stays up and running. Start all software on system 1 and then upgrade system 2.

With a bit of luck, you can do the same type of rolling upgrade for HP-UX.

You need to FIRST upgrade SG, because SG11.17 is no supported on 11v3.

Take the /etc/cmcluster backup
1)just install the service gaurd 11.18 on the server
2)cmcheckconf & cmapplyconf
3)start the cluster

As other have said, upgrade Serviceguard first, install the latest patch to A.11.18 and then upgrade the O/S.
