setting noproxy_uid and noproxy_gid
I'm trying to set the noproxy values as described in section 22.1.3
HP TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Management
and I'm getting these error messages.
TCPIP> SET NFS_SERVER /GID_DEFAULT=-2
error: 'sysconfig -r nfs' - Attribute 'noproxy_gid' is not a number or string,
interactive update not supported.
TCPIP> SET NFS_SERVER /uiD_DEFAULT=-2
error: 'sysconfig -r nfs' - Attribute 'noproxy_uid' is not a number or string,
interactive update not supported.
Any ideas?
I've also tried the method described in section
22.12
creating the file TCPIP$NFS_SERVER_SYSTARTUP.COM
stopping and starting the nfs server with no luck.
TCPIP> sysconfig -q nfs
nfs:
mountd_option_a = 0
mountd_option_d = 0
mountd_option_i = 0
mountd_option_n = 1
mountd_option_s = 0
noproxy_enabled = 0
noproxy_uid = 0
noproxy_gid = 0
tcp_idle_timeout = 300
tcp_threads = 8
udp_threads = 8

Re: setting noproxy_uid and noproxy_gid
Take a look and see if this helps.
